Scratch
So at first when we look at this term-Scratch, we think it means to say - the nail scratch or the scratch made by the paws of a cat. But then, there's a lot difference between this scratch and the nail scratch.
Wanna start up with tech/coding? But from where to start?
This is it- a platform where you make understand the concept of making games and animations!
__Scratch__
Scratch is actually a language - kids language for coding. It's an easy to understand, compatible language for new beginners. Scratch helps u make animations, stories and many games. I - also do scratch a lot even. I also have a channel based on scratch-

Coming back to the point, Scratch provides the easy facility of giving u blocks provided by it and that you need to drag them, put the matching values, keep the block on top of another(according to the need) and make and define even your custom blocks!

___Where to code scratch?___
Scratch language can be accessed by many ways though. Many people have made mods of the main scratch coding-provided app. Better, if you're a beginner, you should use the main application- scratch. Get it from here!

If you are experienced on coding a bit and want to make online games, then u should give it a try to the online editor. There u will meet people- the full community of scratchers. Love, like and remix other projects! U need to make a new mail ID for scratch while using this online editor. While giving the email address, make sure it's an active email cause u need to verify the scratch account from that Email. Here is the official website for scratch online!

__Starting up with scratch__
So now you have downloaded the scratch application. Now how to use? How to code? From where to start up?
So, as of my experience u shall start from watching big tutorials provided by youtube. There are also tutorials given by the scratch team on youtube and even on scratch. I started from this tutorial and started learning something.
https://youtu.be/PfQiTBbHHY4
You should follow whatever these big scratchers are saying. And then try to grasp main points and functions of all the blocks and how to arrange them. After u may watch such more tutorials, you'll get an idea how does scratch language works. After this, u shall check out basic tutorials provided by the scratch team on the scratch app only. And one thing u should make sure, u don't have to just watch it - but actually do the code simultaneously!
After u watch these tutorials, u shall start making some kind of stories/animations.
Make some more projects like this and then after effort of 1-2 month, u can start making a very small game like pong game or fly game.
